Monthly Recap |
||
Good morning,
This message is a brief summary regarding the work of St Alphege & Blythe neighbourhood policing team.
We have recently updated our local priorities. We set these based on what you tell us is affecting you in your area. We are working towards reducing: Retail Crime
We regularly update our progress and actions in these areas, which you can view here: https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/area/your-area/west-midlands/solihull/st-alphege-and-blythe/our-priorities
We are moving into autumn and darker evenings. This season usually brings an increase in crime as darkness can conceal suspicious or criminal behaviour. Please take extra care and precautions to protect yourself and your property. You can find more information about how to keep yourself safe here: https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/personal-safety-how-to-stay-safe/
Halloween and Bonfire Night are coming soon. These are great events for families and children to have fun. Sadly, we sometimes see a linked increase in anti-social behaviour. You can find more information about how to identify, reduce and protect yourself from anti-social behaviour here:
We continue to hold ‘beat surgery’ events which are free to attend, and no registration required. You can discuss a particular issue with us, or just drop in for a chat. We have a selection of FREE posters, cards and safety products such as light timers and alarms for anyone who attends. You can see our upcoming events here:
Please report any incidents of suspicious behaviour, anti-social behaviour or crime to West Midlands Police. You can do this via our website (link below) or by calling 101. In an emergency, if a crime is occurring or someone is in danger, call 999. https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/ro/report/
